X3 adapter help

Ok I have the x3 and solderless adapter for my xbox which is a version 1.0. My mod will only run if I press down towards the bottom of the solderless adapter so it has a good contact. Its annoying having to hold down my adapter just to get it running not to mention just getting applications running. Is there anyway I can fix this. It only needs a small amount of weight. Could I de solder the filled in holes so it would be level? Need Help Thanks

well you might want to put the mounting screw in a bit tighter and then press firmly down on the Xapt3r and place the cap screw on snug... I did it and have not yet had a single issue with the thing. If it helps at all goto the main page and follow the Xapter tutorial exactly, the only real difference is your (if its the enw one) will have the lights to confirm that its working.

Not sure if you have to desolder v1.0 for it to work properly.

I would try tightening the screw and if that doesnt help then just remove the solder and it should set in there a little better.

Usually you do not have to desolder the holes but sometimes the solder is uneven and contact isnt as good.
