I have just chipped my first xbox and have a problem. I have a version 1.4 xbox x3 chip with zapt3r header and the new switch pack that goes under the front of the xbox. I managed to flash the chip as per the tutorials everything seems to be working alright apart from when you put a dvd movie into the box it does nothing. Anyone got any ideas on what I have done wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Bob

Download dvdx2 (application) from the usual places-- it's a DVD player. XBMC (Xbox Media Center) is a must have, as well.
Then, if you're using evox, go into the evox.ini file and you'll see "AutoLaunchDVD". Change it to this:
AutoLaunchDVD = Yes
DVDPlayer = "e:\where_ever_you_put_your_apps\dvdx2\default.xbe"
It should then work.
