Ok after reading all the other post, i am going to try to be as clear as possible.
I installed the X3 modchip in a 1.6b xbox. Had the blank screen problem. I softmodded everything with the x3_1959_16plus.bin and flashbios_303.bin.
When I have the modchip on, i get the x3 config live screen. Still don't know how to start backup games on the F drive but thats another issue. I can FTP and all that here. I even formatted my new Seagate 200gb hd with x3.
When i have the modchip off, it loads the flubber thing and boots up the project mayhem evox dashboard that came with softmodding the hd to flash the modchip. Havne't figured out how to use evox yet but again another issue.
The issue is when i place in an original game (the top spin/NCAA 2004 game) it crashes with the flashing red/green eject button and I get service error 21. If the original disc is in the xbox and I turn on the mod chip i get error 21 again. Can anyone help me with this issue? I don't have the original image anymore because thanks to my nephew i have a fatty virus on my computer that wiped everything.
