Hello Team_Xecuter

I think I read somewhere, in this forum or another forum, about the flashbios 3.0.0 not working on the 1.6b(september release). I originally was trying to install the X3 in a V1.0 xbox and stumbled across this information. I have read so much that I could be wrong. Anyways, if this is true how can I get the X3 bios flashed with the proper Bios? I do not have any friends with modded Xbox's and I have not seen a programmer for the X3. I have heard great things about this chip. I have spent my money to enjoy what other people are raving about.

I am pretty sure that the chip is installed correctly. All 3 of the button cominations work as stated and when the chip is disabled the original xbox bios takes control. When the bios on the X3 is enabled the Xbox just sits there with a green halo. Then it turns yellow. There is no fragging. I would really appreciate a response.

Thanks a bunch

You dont need a programmer for the X3
power up xbox and press the eject button till X3 logo on switch go's purple should then have the bios flash screen

I think there is a problem with the bios communicating with the v1.6b. I think its the memory table issues I have read about. The reason I need to flash the bios is so that I can get the bios that will communicate properly. Right now I just get a blank (black) screen when the chip is enabled.

....... I'm Doomed.

Is there anyway that I can get this situation resolved. Is there any way I can get the right bios flashed to the chip? The only two options are out of my reach.

XECUTER please PM me or get in touch!!

As far as I'm aware there is only ONE way to sort this problem and that is to flash the X3 in someone else's xbox (not a 1.6b) then reinstall it into the 1.6b ( i have had this work fine by the way)

Is there another way (you mention two)?

Xbox 360 3 red light after flashing DVD drive

Just flashed the dvd drive on my xbox. Tested it out on a legit game and it worked fine. I then tested it out on a burned copy of a game and the 360 red-ringed.....

There any possibility that I did something wrong in the flashing process? or did my 360 just die on me?

Re: Xbox 360 3 red light after flashing DVD drive

I've had so many consoles get RRoD right after flash with this new firmware at x12 drive speed. You used to able to choose the speed of the drive which I think the x12 is too much for some of these older consoles. If your concerned about being banned and playing onlune then DONT do the RRoD fix yourself. Pust it all back together nice and neat and send it back to M$ for repair.

Opened the xbox back up and redid the connections to the disk drive; made sure everything was correct inside the box.

Works now; maybe the drive wasn't in properly...
