maby its talking about the xecuter rox my box thing thats at bottom of screen at startup? Or maby its talking about an old bios build that used to have the ability to change the xbox blob to something else.

* Change background colors of the startup screen
* Load Bios from HDD C, D, E, F and Flash (both 2mb Flash Rom & 256k Backup Flash Rom)
* Load Bios from DVD-ROM and Flash (both 2mb Flash Rom & 256k Backup Flash Rom)
* Customized Flubber model
* Customized X Logo model

are these not implimented yet? i tried on my friend's xbox (waiting for mine in the mail) and i couldn't find it anywhere in "Config Live". build number is 1959. most recent. these would be some nice features gor me when i get my chip installed. the ones in bold are the ones i looked for. he wanted a different "X" animation on his xbox, and checnge the black background color.

I hear you. What attracts the noobs are the skins and animation.
But I have fate that Xecuter will deliver and we will be feeling like we are all in heaven without the toke.

that customization is talking about being able to change the 'X' and flubber colors and have the wire frame flubber, etc...

Originally the X3 bios had custom 3D meshes in it but they were removed due to a 'small DirectX issue' and have so far not been put back in.
I can only assume that TX intended to make those models user customisable ( there was only a X3 logo initially ) at some point but as they have as yet to get them working 'publically' then we are going to just have to wait !!

it was working for a while, but then it had a graphical error where some points were connected to the wrong points, and in trying to fix that it unearthed some other bug, either way they scrapped the premature geek fodder for functionality, which is the obvious smart move. They said it'll be out in the future
