Think i Bricked my drive (Bad Flash) VIA Chipset / Liteon 93

Hey lads someone please try help me im really going insane sad.gif . I just bought a new Xbox 360 Elite Jasper Chipset and a CK3Pro with a CK3 Probe v2 to flash my drive. I was sure everything was going to go fine and it was i have everything done as to the jungleflasher guide and other guides told me to do.

I checked all the connections to see if everything was ok and that the ck3 pro was powering my drive and could find it in jungleflasher and it did i found my drive in jungleflasher and the drive was working ok, also the probe was grand the blue led and the green led were on.

So i went to the next step were i think i fu€k£d it all up and prob lost a new xbox i don know, i was making the trace cuts on the PCB Bord of my drive. Like im by far a expert but it looked like something i could do so i tried it since it was solderless but for some reason wile i done the cuts and tried to get the key i went back to jungle flasher and my drive was gone sad.gif it could be found in jungleflasher anymore.... At this stage im lost and do not know what to do nxt.. I kept at it for a bit with no joy it just seems like the drive is dead and i even put it bak together and into my 360 and no 3 red rings of deatch flashing at me sad.gif

I would PAY to get this fixed for me but dont know anyone in my area that does it, so i really need help.

I have everyhting i need to do the job il take pics in a min of it all and post them but lad plz try and put the brains i dont have lol together and help me out cus i cant afford to just dump my xbox sad.gifsad.gif

I Really am begging for help plz k thanks and i hope we can sort this. BoMBoM.

now i've never flashed or probed a liteon drive in my life but i know a thing or two about electronics and all i can say is Damn! that is one hugely chopped up circuit board!, from what i can see in the last pic, it looks like you've cut straight through the board and at least 10 circuits, hence why it is no longer reading, there is no complete circuit. so basically you've killed it, you'll somehow need to find the key and get a new pcb board.

How chunky do you want to make your cuts! F*cking hell! anyway.... The bottom cut shouldn't be a problem as long as its not mega deep. the top one looks like you cut through more than one trace.

I'd recommend that you use a fiberglass scratch pen to clear up the traces (green lines) at the top cut AND bottom.

then (this is only a idea) Solder some wires reconnecting the traces including the bottom one.

turn it back on and hopefuly it should work, if it does then just cut the bottom wire and the other one you should cut, if you want i will edit the pic to how you should do it.

EDIT: Also use a multi meter to check if you traces are crossing.

if all else fails but you managed to get a dump of it then just spoof to a benq.

oh and also It *MIGHT* matter when reading it or geting it into vendor mode to make sure ur Multi R switch is on 22ohm.

they only added the multi r switch because some drivers wouldnt work with a 22ohm resistor, so they put 20 and 18.

Re: Think i Bricked my drive (Bad Flash) VIA Chipset / Liteo

alright, this is all i can do to help, i've never done this before but it might just work! anyway....

look at the picture (this is your "work" on it). ive made some changes.

First: use a fiberglass scratch pen (roughly £5/$9) to clean up all of the traces your working on. it should go into a copper colour not green.

Second: Solder on these 4 wires,..(wont work if you don't use fiberglass first...

Third: turn it on and it should work because we've closed all of the connections.

Fourth: then cut the green wires (labeled in green (duh))

Last: This is where it's going to get hard. You Pretty much destoryed the point at which you must press the probe into so when you use your probe just jab around your cut you made and you should get a connection!

Hope this helped!
