I have followed the tuts for burning a disk to flash 1959 and have my switches set on on off off off. I load the disk and it shows to be flashing and does its thing and shuts down. When I turn it back on it goes to the flash bios 3.0.3 again, like it wants me to flash the bios. So I checked all my stuff and I can boot the chip the backup and ms. So then I tried to flash with http. I got my IP and tried to go to the webpage like the tut says and it wont bring it up, all firewalls and protections are disabled. Does anybody got any Ideas?

For flashing the chip via network, make sure your network card on your PC is set to 192.168.0.1 / 255.255.255.0
If it's in any other subnet then it won't see it.
Personally, I set all switches to off and flashed the 1MB X3 1959 and on booting in the same config, got the X3 logo etc...

I cant get the network to work so back to the disk flash. Any idea why i can flash and it shows it takes it, but when you turn it back on it wants you to do it again.
Another note I had another guy burn the 1959 prepack on a dvd and it also does the same thing.

I have a quick question i'm tring to update my bios from 1957 to 1959.
I seem to have no joy in doing so, it starts to read the disk then stops. i have no access to a computer at home so i can't ftp. if i change my banks it also frags. any ideas?

What steps to mod my Phillips DS-16D2S?
Hi guys im a noobie
my xbox was modded about a year ago but doesnt seem to play new backed up games so I was hoping to just mod it myself but it seems there is so much info my mind is melting with different programs, and everthing.
Can anyone help with the steps? I have the drive out and ready to go and was going to pick up sata card but i cant figure out the steps and what programs i need.

Thanks for the help. I downloaded it and will read the tutorial. I noticed it doesnt show any files in the firmware folder do i have to find those somewhere else?

or you could just dump all the firmware files in the firmware folder of jungleflasher, it automatically selects the files you need

oh man xbins said i have been banned because i tried to go back in and download the files becaue the first time i did the wrong ones. It said i got greedy.
