X3 Bios Only Frag's On Loading Bios?

i have xbox v1.6 and a x3 chip with 3.0.1 on it..... every thing is fine when i boot up and lets me http the bios no prob till it trys to actuly load the new bios..(green bar).. it goes about 25% the way green then it just stops.... i have read and read and searched a bit and not found much to help me... boots fine normal(chip off) but anytime i try to laod a bios to it thing does this, i have tryed a lot of differnt bios and no luck, iv check my flip switches and there set properly... also pulled out the board and gone over all connects and they seem aok.... im at a loss.... any help would be great...

also when it locks up on the GREEN bar i get orang/green flashing (not sure if it flashes the whole time its working or just when it locks up) i just noticed it is flashing and from looking up what this means it kind of makes me more lost.... any how..

ok i swithced to a differnt setting with the bank swithces and it let me upload the bios just fine, but.... once it rebooted i get a rolling screen in black and white..... if i boot w/ the chip off it is still black and white and rolling... what now?... again i searched and didnt see much on this problem also, im sure someone has had this happen? i cant realy read any thing as its rolling to fast to make out any thing...

the only time i have ever seen a rolling black and white screen was when my video region was wrong.

try this

thanks for the help, i have only had my xbox about 3 weeks and dont have a clue what you mean by "(LEFT+X NTSC, LEFT+Y PAL - hold on bootup)" other than i do this on boot up.... sorry for being retarded but can i get a link to some kind of list that will tell me what this means... i havnt had a game system in a long time... and cant wait to get this working,'

you can install an x3 mod chip but you cant use your xbox controller???

NO NO ... i can use the contoler but i dont understand what u mean by that list of commands..... like do i use the pad, joy stick, triger?.. for the lefts and whar are NTSC and PAL

im kind of slow at remembering,picking up,knowing short hand or any kind of terms related to something else.... im part retard.... sorry.....

just checked and i loaded X3 2913.bin i grabed it last night so im thinking its the as new as i could of gotten to laod?.....
