X3 BIOS or Evox BIOS?

Well, i've read a LOT, but i haven been able to find a good answer to this.

I've read that you need to flash both X3 and Evox bios to modchip, but then i also read that you only need X3 bios, so im not sure what to do.

The reason for this is also that i've read that some games like burnout 3 need a "M8" evox bios in order to load, and well, i have burnout 3 and it wont load, it freezes at 75% and sometimes at 50%, i tried loading from DVD backup too, im sure the hdd and dvd backups are good bacause they both run great at a friend's xbox and they wont at mine, and my friend had his xbox modded and he doesnt know a thing about xbox so i can really ask him much

so, do i need to flash M8 or is there other reason why both my dvd and hdd backups are not loading?

my specs are:

xbox 1.6
X3 CE
X3 1959 BIOS
Samsung DVD drive
200GB WD HDD

if you need any other info pls post it, i love this game and it sucks that i cant play it on my own xbox

The 1959 BIOS does EVERYTHING the M8 bios does PLUS more.

You stuck you HDD in your friends XBOX????

Does your Original Burnout 3 work?
How did you "back it up"?
What version of what software did you use to back it up?
Was it merely a download?
What modchip / bios does your friends box run?

My initial guess would be that you got a bad copy, but you say it works at your friends. Bottom line... you won't get much help getting a d/l'd game to work.
