Hi I am new to the scene and have recently tried to wire install the X3 to my 1.0 xbox. The flash bios screen comes up fine. I have been having the same problem with flashing the X3 bios as many of you already have, that being that the bios was flashed smoothly, and the xbox shut down. However when I try and boot the xbox, it stays on for about a second and turns off.
Many people who have had this problem have had success with other bios. I tried the X2 bios and it did the same thing it was doing before. I am going to try and resolder pins 13 and 14, but does anyone know any other ones i should pay close attention to? I dont have a volt meter.
Also, the first time I tried to flash it, the bar frooze. I just turned off the xbox, I didnt know what else to do. This wouldn't be the root of any of my problems would it??
