x3 bios setback?

my xbox is purely a media center xbox... and i got the x3 so that i can see mp3's on the nice easy to use xlcd....
but the xbox dvd-remote wont let me navigate the bios menu to boot to dash... if i use a different bios, m8 for example. will the lcd still work as well?
or is there a way to make it so the bios doesnt boot to the bios options menu?

yes, you need to go to x3 config live (power button and white button on the controller), then chose x3 config live->customize x3 bios->then change autostart X3 config live = disabled. This will boot into your dash when you boot up your xbox with x3 enabled. Is that what you need?
