just as an added note, the box will boot in to the x3 w/o a problem, but it just wont light up the blue on the 1.6, it lights up on the 1.4. i have searched the forums and could not find this particular problem.

Pcaddict try checking your soldering points for bad connections and see if you have the 2 blue leds lit up on the X3 chip

The Led's on the chip light up. On power up it shuts off and on then comes on with green and red on the power button. With the chip front switch still red

Its best to check all your solder points carefully and check you have soldered all the points on the lpc rebuild

so you used wires to do your lpc rebuild? (tutorial blue wires)

If this is the case then ignore what I said about the "d0 wire on the d0 pad on the LPC rebuild PCB"

You only do the rebuild if your xbox is a version 1.6 or 1.6b
