I think his topic title was a simple typo. He wants to know if they X3 bioses will ever be bootable from media, i.e. in softmods, programs such as PBL can load the bios into memory from the HDD rather than having to buy a chip...
at least thats how i interpreted it.
Oh, and I think I read somewhere that X3 would not become BFM
