X3 Boot with no video

This is my third modchip install. v 1.6 X3 with the free lpc rebuild. It boot but has no picture. I try removing the chip. Now it try to boot three time and then flash red and orange. I search and the forum say broken trace or splash. I check and there were a broken trace. i repaired that and found no other broken trace or splash. still flash red and orange after three boot. can anyone help. please....

hmm i had that problem but not with the 1.6 it was the 1.0 anyways i kinda had the problem with the lpc rebuilt thinguie on my 1.6 so i decided to do wires instead, i used 28gauge wire wich 30gauge was recomemded and since had no problems now im playing my XBOX,oh and make sure you have the 5v wire soldered too. good luck dude

Yeah i got the chip properly soldered on the point according to the tutorial and the forumn. the xbox boot with the the chip install. both power led are blue and the x3 logo is blue but just no video. without the chip. only get red and orange flashing. hopefully don't have to spend like 80 send it to someone to repair.

Ok... for those of you who have this same problem. I went back and rebuild the entire lpc with wire to the closest trace for each of them. xbox now working fine...

What should I do

Okay, let me tell you whats going on. I have a legit 360 I use for live and a modded box for offline. I want to to play the lastest games with my modded box but theres a catch, the box has never been on live and still has the PRE-NXE plus for some odd reason is a newer motherboard and has and HDMI port and such. It only plays up to wave 4 games if i'm correct and as of now I would like to play newer games. So I ask you, Do you think it is worth updating my box to the NXE for newer games, or should I wait a month to pick up a cheap box with NXE to mod for online. I would like to update, but ive grown attached to my pre-nxe box. what to do, what to do. X(
