Is there a way to change the time to press the power button for the starting of X3 enabled/Disabled.

I don't like the timing between the enabled/disabled mode ( much to short )
I don't like to boot in disabled all together :)

Is it possible to change those timings or remove the disabled option?
I only use Enabled and X3 live bios.

I've found that you can activate the chip by pressing the reset switch.

hope that helps!

the eject button is the reset button and to disable the ability to disable the chip thake that little chip that connect to the startup switch you know the one thats by the controller ports that came wit your x3

sevennl,

don't know how comfy you are with electronics, but this will work...
use a multimeter to get voltage/current of the line coming from the power and eject switches. then you can just pick up an inductor from radioshack or somewhere and put it in line with the power button. do the math and size it accordingly. if you want adjustability you can put a pot in parallel with it and maybe dremel out a little slot to adjust externally...

X3 moderators, this would be an easy mod to mass produce and I'm sure you can turn a profit. 8)

i noticed you said you don't care if you ever boot with the chip disabled or not, this is very easy to do

you can ditch the reset/eject board all together then solder a wire from the d0 to a ground, this will cause the xbox to ALWAYS boot to the lpc, therefore always will boot with the chip on

This is what i was looking for. I will never use XBL feature, so why the hassle of enable/disable the chip.
Also I build my Xbox into a Silverstone LC03 case, which has a sticky powerswitch ( that is the only bad thing of that case )

Bit confused on playin Orig. games on flashed 360...

So I flashed my BenQ last week, and played a few backup's offline, but if I were to play my original COD MW2 online I could still get banned..?? I thought you only got banned when playing burned games...

Re: Bit confused on playin Orig. games on flashed 360...

I ask this because I signed in today and not thinking thoroughly I did the system update... I hear some people flashed back to stock before doing so, I didn't because I didn't read that part anywhere in the instructions but I was playing a legit original copy of MW2 so I'm just curious if I should be concerned... Thanks..

edit: I'm using LT 1.1 also...

if ur using 1.1 and you havent flashed before and using correctly stealthed games then theres no reason for you to be able to get banned

That's correct, I'm using a BenQ with LT 1.1 and I just flashed from stock original firmware just a couple days ago.. So are you saying I shouldn't worry about being banned because my games were original or because 1.1 is not detectable right..??

Thanks for the response as well =)

Re: Bit confused on playin Orig. games on flashed 360...

Well....

So far we know/think IxtremeLT 1.1 is undetectable so yeah.

We also know that microsoft can ban people by finding out if our discs/games are genuine or not.

Finaly we also know that they bring out ban waves and find ways to detect our firmware in the end.

So to be safe:

-Flash with IxtremeLT 1.1
-Use abgx360 (latest version ALWAYS) to patch your games.
-Revert to Stock firmware everytime there is a update. Then revert back

hope it helped :D

Alright, awesome information dude thanks very much...

It would have seemed almost not worth it to play backups by not being able to use Xbox Live so hopefully this works out good the way I'm doing it... I did my update yesterday while using my flashed dvd drive but I was playing an original game so hopefully nothing comes of it... Thanks again...

there is always a chance to get banned thats why doin polls to see if anyone did get banned with the update. but as far as we know microsoft isnt doin ban waves yet. but thats why it was told to everryone when there is a live update u need either to switch to stock or revert back to stock

tru yeah I missed that part... I guess I was just to anxious weighing out the pro's than thinking more about the con's...

So I guess once you do the update its to late..?? Have people updated with flashed fw and than gone back to stock after an update and still got banned..??
