There seems to be a little error in skins.txt on the version on the usual places.
A little (formatting character?!) in the end causes the skins not to show up :)
Just remove it and it works fine (for me it does )

this bios has error detecting my dvd drive in hardware info section.

hardly a biggy but thought i'd mention it as feedback.

It works great!!

Tried it out this morning and it runs lika a champ. Really like the disable DVD option and the bios skin is an added touch of quality. Good job!!

OK got the Bios update working :)

realy nice work guys but having a problem with the using the skins that came with it i had put them in to E:\Skins like it says then when i booted up went to the skinning control it see the skins that i have put into the above Folder when i click on one of them nothing happens and when i reboot the skins r no longer there at the skinning control.

Does any one know why?

it says to put them in the x3skins dir, not skins. Read carefully.

Can't get it loaded. Flasbios tells me unknown flash and halts. X3CL tells me that I have to take off write-protect. I have write protect off on the bank selector, and I even cracked open my box to make sure it was off on the chip itself. Won't let me flash... I don't know what's going on here.

I flashed banks 1234 and I see nothing different??? Is there something I did wrong? I flashed Via HDD c: I said it flashed fine and shut off. So what shoud I see different? I have a 1.6 Box and Iam pretty sure I flashed with the 1.6 Bios.

Look under version and see if it has the new version #. You have to upload the skins folder... then select the X3CL Skinning option and change the skin... if you are talking about visual difference. The rest are options in the sub menus of the bios.

I uploaded the skins but I do not see this skinning option. Sorry if this is so simple and iam just not understanding......Iam sure I flashed it right... Please help!! Aghhhhhhhh

can any one help again please?

I have just installed my X3CP and i have 3.Q

1. when i load up to my dashborad and play my MP3's there is no song title comes up? Oh the X3CP works ok i can see the http://www.teamxecuter.com on it but like i said the songtitle not there.

2. I flashed my Bios before getting the X3CP How do u go about updateing with the new CP? i have the Protect button Pressed and its Green and have no of the other pressed there is no lights on them at all.

3. Where do u conect the USB conectors up to i have left them disconected for the mo.

Any help would be nice guys thanks in advance.

I'm having problems now with FlashFXP before this Bios Build i could tranfer Files about a gig or so over to the XboX with in a few min now trying to copy a File of 38 meg and its taking for ever and i have not done any thing diffrant only the Bios UpDate any i clue why?

just checked the speed has droped to a 4k a sec bummer and like i said before was copying over gig over in a few min and still not finished.

Big thanks again as all way for help guys
