X3 CE bios flas problems....the sequel:(

I'm on my second X3CE chip now (after my overflashing debacle). My Flash Bios 3.0.3 is working correctly. I am attempting to load X3 3294 v1.6+ bios from dvd to my v 1.6b XBOX. This time, I always remember to switch to the correct bank before I flash (I can't afford another mod). The flash always looks good, but the XBOX never restarts after the power off. If I turn it back on myself, I get the blue light for just a second, and then it powers off again. I am still thankfully able to get back to my 3.0.3, but haven't been able to get the 3294 bios to boot after 10 trys.

In the height of desperation, I even made a 2nd dvd with the X3 3294 (no v1.6+) bios on it. That does the same thing.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong??? Am I using the right bios for a 1.6b box and an X3CE mod?

Are you able to attempt a network flash?

I'll try. Am I likely to have better luck with that? I'm getting no erros when I try to flash from cd...

Flashing from CD doesn't always prove to be the best way. Network flashing generally works 100% (as long as you know what you're doing!).

2nd chip? couldn't you send it back for reflashing?

I had one email from Divineo when I asked about a reflash, and then nothing. They just don't seem interested. I even tried to get a number for themm through the credit card processor, but had no luck. They may just be a garage band...

I am not having much more success with the network flas either. I was able to get it to take an older evox bios this way however. I go the box to load and boot EVOX M8 + V16, but I really want the newer X3 bios based on what I've read here. I'm starting to think I just got a bad file...

I guess I'll just stick with the evox m8+v16 bios since it's the only one that wants to load. What dashboard should I be looking 4?

It's possible it's a bad file. Re-download from Xbins. The network flashing is definitely working tho, since it took another BIOS.
