X3 CE chip-- Question on a piece that came with package

I have just purchased the X3 mod chip and I was installing the chip when i came across this piece the has D0 printed on it with the X and the color is purple.

thats a lpc rebuild board. You can use that on a 1.6 or 1.6b motherboard to do the rebuild instead of using your wires. But everytime I install a chip, I use my own wires for the rebuild.
