Im a noob and i have some questions. I just ordered my chip and wanted to get some answers before i get started. I have a 1.6b xbox with a x3 ce solderless adapter witch is going in when i get it. 1st question--When i put the chip in and do a short power what screen will i come to? 2nd question--I cant find a good in depth guide for biosing a x3 ce in a 1.6b x box. Please tell me where if any 3rd question--What are the modes for the chip. 4th question---What dashboard is the best for loading games off the harddrive?? Thanks and any help would be appreated.

Just a note with the 1.6b.
Take it slowly and don't rush it when you flash your chip.

Grab X3_3294.rar off #xbins.
extract this file using unrar or similar.
Flash with the file X3_3294_v16plus.bin, which is the bios for Xbox version 1.6
Do not use, X3 3294.bin which is for version 1.0-1.5.

If you chip is in properly and have the switch set correctly to (OFF ON OFF OFF) for 1.6b,
it should bring up FlashBIOS 3.0.3 screen. FlashBIOS 3.0.1 won't work which is on default switch settings (ON ON OFF OFF). CHANGE IT TO THIS ONCE YOU ARE IN FLASHBIOS 3.0.3!
Then flash on this bank. The backup bios won't work too so reflash this one you have the correct bios in. The flashing guide is the same for the rest of the tutorials. http://teamxecuter.com/flashbios


You can use any dashboard to run applications...
XBOX2DVD is an application which will copy games to your hard drive.
