X3 ce on 1.4 xbox...no audio or video

I have checked and recheck all solder points and everything is correct. I am getting the correct colored lights, but no audio or video. I switched to the original av cable, but that didn't help. If I remove the chip, I can get the original boot up. When I put it back, it boots to a blue screen. I have tried different switch positions and nothing seems to work. Am I missing something?

I checked the soldering....I don't know what else to look for.

figured it out. I had switched to the av cable, but didn't think about where I was connecting it. I had it plugged into the front of the audio reciever. What I didn't think about was that the reciever is connected via s-video. Plugged it straight into the tv and it works wonderfully.
