x3 chip and versions

I was curious what the difference between the v1-1.5 x3 package and the 1.6 package is? I think i may have ordered the wrong one but i think i am just not going to recieve the correct parts to do the mod. anyone know for sure? or am i thoroughly screwd

there should be no difference if you buy from an official reseller as the only difference is the need for the rebuild PCB on the 1.6. You should get the rebuild PCD whether you need it or not.

ok, i do get that with the package. i guess i will find out when it arrives. i did email them but who knows if they will reply/find out in time. it is an official seller so thats a plus. A friend of mine said it mite require some extra soldering although he doesnt know much about it.

the package that you will receive contains all the parts whether its a 1.0 -1.5 xbox or an 1.6... if you have an 1.6, as your friend said, you will need some more soldering... check the relevant installation guide in team xecuter front page. according to your xbox version...

v1.6 is not that bad, I recently installed my first mod chip on my v1.6 with no problem.

After doing about five 1.6 rebuilds cutting the wires from the wire harness, the 1.6 rebuild PCB is a cakewalk.

I kind of miss it because I got good at it and it looked pretty, but then the two minute installation factor took the lead. LOL!

Take my advice, LOVE THE REBUILD BOARD!
