X3 chip good, flashbios with X3 bios good, now what?

it shows the screen with :

X3 Config Live
Bios Tools
Disk Tools
etc........
etc...



Now what do i do? i wanna play backups and try evox and Xbmc.. what do i do know? Ive tried alot of tutorials.. i cant seem to ftp into the xbox now, and when i turn my xbox on i get an message on my pc from the bottom right taskbar about "There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network".. what do i do now..?? ?

I am exactly where you are at man, just got done flashing the bios, but I have changed the led and start up screens
Im just so damn happy I finally got it all working...It was a struggle

I cant seem to ftp into my box either, and this is my second chip on one hard drive so Im not sure how to delete/install the updated dashboard???

nevermind.. i had originally set my network card's IP as 192.168.0.1 and flashed my xboxs bios through its ip of 192.168.0.99. After the X3 bios was installed and the config live was running , it for some reason changed the xboxs ip to 192.168.0.1 also, therefore causing the error on my pc and not allowing me to connect to the ip address because of the conflict. changing my network card's ip address to 192.168.0.2 solved this and im now connected thorough ftp to my xbox.

I figured by posting the solution to my problem here, others can see the topic and answer right away...

OK guys, let me say something.

You are all TRULY disappointing. I don't want to knock you, but there are Sooooo many tuts here AND at www.xbox-scene.com that tell you EXACTLY that, hell, there is a sticky that says "I flashed my bios now what" and you STILL post this crap?

1. This forum is titled for FLASHING the X3 BIOS, so why ask about the next steo here when there are other forums?

2. Since you OBVIOUSLY don't know anything I would normally tell you to go read, but that would be a waste.

3. Just go to Xbins and look through the Xbox stuff for the "Auto installer" folder. I totally would tell you to use the "Slayers 2.6 Final" installer. It will COMPLETELY setup your Xbox, just make sure to pay attention to the caution info.
