If the chip is working correctly then are you using a HDTV adapter?

You should be using the standard Red, White, and Yellow video chords to get your xbox initially set up.

***nospmohtkcin*** Yeah I can Get To the backup Bios By Pressing the Power and Eject Button and the X3 Logo goes Red & Blue as per instructions - I think It's the V1.6 not sure what the difference between this and V1.6b Is I have a Manufacture date of September 04 and it has Hynix memory So i'm assuming its a 1.6

Not using the HDTV Adapter Just the standard RWY Combination

If you have Hynix RAM it's a 1.6B - therefore you need BIOS 3.0.3 loaded onto the chip in order for it to work. Most X3's seem to only have the earlier version

Worth searching the forums - especially stickys for info on no display - could still be solder splash or something on the mobo.
