After playing with some different emulators, I have found that none of them work on my box. Is there any major changes in the architecture between the X2 and the X3 to cause a program that works on an X2 and not an X3? Thanks

Need to replace drives, which is the best solution?
Hey Fellas,
Haven't modded any boxes in a while, but 2 of my 360's need replacement drives. 1 won't even read anymore, the other is a Hitachi which works fine, but figured I mine as well replace so I don't have to use the boot disc. Anyways, my question is which is the better drive to use(keep in mind they will be modded), Philips/Lite-On or the Ben-Q?

ive replaced a few drives and ive used benq and lite on so either is good to go

I didn't mean Hitachi, I mean I am using the boot disc with a Samsung. Last time I was on here there wasn't a new firmware available for the Samsungs. I see there is the iXtreme LT v1.0 now, so I guess I could use that in the mean time.
As far as using the same brand, I want to spoof it with the best drive available. My original question was just are there any opinions as the BenQ vs LiteOn's or one being better than the other.

benq and lite-on have the same hardware pretty much
benq LT is able to spoof, lite-on you can't
use benq
