X3 config live freezing

I've looked everywhere and i can't figure it out. I boot into X3 config live and go to make a change and it freezes. I am Using 1959 bios and new 3029 one in each bank.
I can boot into the backup BIOS no problem, when i try to boot offff a cd it reboots itself.

I'm stumped can anyone help/??

Which one is loaded, the 1959 or 3029? The 3029 skin bugs are known to freeze the Xbox. Does the CD reboot the Xbox with the mod disabled? What are you trying to boot?

1959 loaded in 1stmb and 3029 in 2nd bank. The CD doesn't reboot with the mod disabled only with it on. I have tried two discs Slyers install and evox dvd. I have had no problems with these discs before.
It freeaes in X3 config live whe nI try to change a setting. I'm stumpled could it be a bad chip??
