Hi, I have some problems and questions.
I have installed X3CE and the X3 Control Panel.
Please read what I am doing and tell me where am I wrong.
I will only talk about the settings of the four front buttons and not the flash protect.
1. When I start flashing I have (on, on, off, off) Correct?
2. When I boot I have (on, on, off, off) but If i have flashed with any X3 bios, I get a Purple screen with X logo and system halts. With the exact same settings but a bios file of 1 mb of X2.5032 (2x512 made with xecuter bios manager), my XBOX boots normaly.
So the questions are:
3.How do I flash a X3 bios correctly and boot with it?
4.How to i create bios files that include more than 1 bioses (example: x3 bios + X2 512k bios + evox M8 bios)?

you need to check your install again check all pins as well as 13 and 14 as these pins are used by x3 bios not x2

4.How to i create bios files that include more than 1 bioses (example: x3 bios + X2 512k bios + evox M8 bios)?

you don,t you flash the bios to diff banks
my setup
x3 3294 v16 plus is on banks 1234 on on off off
x2 5035 v16 plus is on banks 56 on off on off
flashbios 3.0.1 on bank 7 on off off on
flashbios 3.0.3 on bank 8 off off off on

Thanks for the quick reply...is there any image to see pins 13 and 14?

P.S (I had the same problem when I first installed X3CE with solderless adapter, so I installed it with pin header to make sure contacts were ok)

Is there any way with the use of a mutimeter and continuity test, to check the soldering of these to pins?
Are pins 13 and 14 the ones I marked in the attached image?

Getting Tired

I am really getting tired of checking that everything is fine.
I double checked my soldering. I measured the pins from above which means that they are soldered right at the bottom of the motherboard. I get correct readings of voltage from every single pin, plus I have checked for continuity to be sure that there is no short-circuit among any pins.
I have no idea what else to do.
I can only boot from 512k older x2 xecuter bios.

P.S. I forggot to mention that I am also unable to flash ANY 256k bios at any bank I get the "Unknown Bios....Halted" (ONLY AT 256k BIOSES)

Is that a purple flubber screen and (purple or green) XBox logo or purple X logo (backup).

Last thing I would probaby do is run the X3_erase.xbe before flashing X3 bios again if that was the case.

I get purple background and green XBOX logo on my TV screen, I see the "Xecuter rox my box" logo and the system halts there.
Please give me some more info about X3_erase.xbe Where do I find it, how do I use it!

Thanks a lot....I finally manage to fix the problem after I used the x3 erase, I flashed again and everything is FINE now!!!
