I just installed my X3 and was able to flash to the X3 BIOS with no problem. I attempted to flash my X3 with Evolutionx M8_16 and M8_16+ after I do I get a frag. I have a 1.6 XBOX and I have double checked all of my solder joints a few times. I can bypass the mod chip with no problem and my backup BIOS works fine as well. The reason I want to load Evolutionx BIOS is that the instructions say that I have to have it installed before I can run the Evolutionx dashboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can i use backup games with the X3 BIOS and Evolutionx dashboard? Do you know of any other dasboards that I can use to play backup games or is there a BIOS requirement?

there is no bios requirement other then a hacked bios. any hacked bios will play backup games. and it will still work if you use and x3 bios will an EvoX dashboard or Avalaunch or whatever dash you decide to use.Liquid_Zer0 said:

Also I have a problem with my drive. I'm guessing its the lens needs to be cleaned or just need to spray air dust cleaner that comes in an spray can. The drive sometimes reads the game/ dvd movie. It will rarely work fine and let me know the game like say Halo, but then when I put it on the next time it would probably not read it or say there is an error drive not able to read disc. What could be the problem?
