X3 evox bios

i had a evox dashboard but i got rid of it and reflashed the memory bank it was in with the flashbios 3.03 and then went to that bank and tried to flash the bios with m8plus.bin its a evolution-x bios now when i start up my xbox modchip on its loading screen is the xbox green goop thing only with an evolution-x symbol in the upper left corner and after that loading screen it goes straight to the xbox dashboard no evolution x dashboard. could somebody help me out like tell me a good bios to use, i have a x3ce

I have had a similar problem that i flashed my bios with the evox m8 bios and thought that i had completely distroyed my xbox as it had not booted at all, it trys to boot twice then it comes up with a blank screen and the frag light on the front. But something wierd is happening with mine as if i turn on all 4 dip switchs to on the i get the green xbox boot up screen with the evox logo in the top corner, so then i think maybe it did work, but after that screen i am getting the wierd writting on my screen and i think i have seen this before, and i think it is because i have a new hard drive in it not the original one. any pointers on this problem would be great, I havethe slayers evo x boot disk do i need to use this now and unlock the hard disc with it ??? or have i not got this flash thing quite right ???

YOU NEED THE X3 BIOS.

What part of this can't you understand?

As for adding another HDD - forget it for now. You've a LOT of reading to do before even THINKING about this.

If I sound harsh - tough. I wrote a Q&A (in my sig) which you can read, along with the dozens of third-party tutorials other people have bothered to write(again, in my sig). What you posted was unnecessary.
