X3 Flashbios Halting.. Tried everything.

Ok guys, I've done everything the last week from Burning to Networking and every little tweaks here and there that's out there before posting in here. My X3 still does not want to accept a Bios at all no matter what version.. I keep getting Bios unknown halting errors and NO! flash protect is not on either before someone brings that up.. What gives?!?!? Is the chip defective or what? Everything loads up fine just will not accept a Bios update whatsoever.

I am using Xbox 1.0 and all the Regular Bios not the v16 ones..

how are you tring to flash your bios? If by disk then you are not making the disk correctly, try flashing via ftp.

Did you read my post?!?!? I've done it! Also Http too.. I can't do FTP yet since this is a brand new install with no Dashboard on the box yet which need to have a BIOS system running first..

People with actual tips please post instead of posting about doing something that the person already did 4/6 times already with no progress correctly.

Once again..
I have done Flash by Disc, Http Flash, Looked at every possible tutorials on this subject and nothing works with getting this chip updated with a X3 Bios, and I have Tried Switch and Switchless mode neither works, Flash Protect is OFF on the chip have triple checked that everytime fricking time.

So it has me to believe i have a Bad Chip!?!?!

What do you mean, switch and switchless mode? try switching the position of flashprotect on the chip just to see????? :-\, see i have a similiar problem. or had, i couldnt flash, now i can flash, but im stuck with frags. :-\.

I've done that too.. Switch and Switchless mode.. Basically the Black jumper switch that is connected to the chip is Switch Mode.. Disconnect it, It's switchless mode and the Chip automatically defaults to 1mb bank 1234 mode when the black cable is disconnected form the mod chip.

oh ok, yes im familiar with what u are talking about. it sounds like something so simple, a small step that has been overlooked? i mean theres not much to DO, theres nothing to do, unless its a faulty chip. but :-\, id rather think not. HIT ME ON AIM! check ur PM.

I apologize for not fully reading your post, I understand you are upset but you dont need to be rude. on your first post you said bios update which led me to believe you had an older bios and you were tring to update.
