X3 Flashing problems

ok here is the deal, I have put in a new x3ce mod into a 1.6b and everything is working fine until you try to flash the chip with the x3 bios. i use a dvd cause i cannot get the xbox to link up to my computer. when i load the disc at the 3.0.3 flash bios screen it accepts the disc but says that "no bios update found...haulting!" what does this mean, or can anyone walk me through step by step how to go about flashing my xbox with a disc. I am using X3 3294 v16plus.

flash protect has to be turned off
on the chip theres a led that should be red not green as well as the flash protect in bios switch board
allways flash x3 the frist time with switch set to on on off off off
boot up flashbios 3.0.3 (off on off off off)then once you see its screen change the switch to on on off off off before you flash

what do you mean have you flash it or not you say that it come up with this error
"no bios update found...haulting!"
did you make the bios dvd the right way renaming bios and puting on dummy file as well then burning with nero to a cd-rw or dvd-r
allso check flash protect is off
turn flash protect on bios switch to off check you have a red LED and two blue LED on the chip and not green and two blue (if green set flash protect to other setting on the chip itself)
now try flashing
