Ok so I turned my xbox on today and nothing came up. Completely baffled I remembered I recently update to the the 1959 bios. So i reflashed...again nothing. So I flashed an X2 bios to the chip and it worked fine. Reflashed the X3 bios and didnt work. Reverted back to 1957, and it didn't work. So I created an X2 1 MB bios and flashed. It works. Tried to flash the X3 bios and it still doesn't work. I have no idea what the problem is and if anyone has anything that might help it would be greatly appreciated, I miss my X3 Config Live

It also will not flash a bios from the hard drive. It says bios found, and then does nothing after that. So basically after messing with all of my options including running the X3 erase, I have concluded that my chip will not run an X3 bios. My xbox is a 1.4, NTSC, currently running an X2 bios because it doesn't like X3 anymore.

sounds like a pin 13/14 problem, they may have been dry joints that have just broke contact. try to touch them up with solder and try again. As Jango said theres a sticky at the top of the forum. I hope this helps.
