Ive been trying to find info on booting with the X3 chip disabled.
I recently installed the X3ce with the 3294 bios. all good.
Then used Slayers 2.6 auto installer. all good as well.
The problem is the xbox wont boot with the chip disabled.
When you hold the power button on to run in disabled chip mode the RED LED flashes and there is no video on the screen.
The xbox runs fine with the chip enabled and I can manually boot up the original xbox dash with the chip enabled.
I also just found that the xbox was connected to the LAN with the internet on. Could I have been somehow flashed by M$ ?
