I start up my Xbox and I hold white, to get to the bios menu, and it take unusally long, no problem I think, but at the bottom left, where the ip is usally displayed, it says "0.0.0.0 Err X"... I'm sooo confused, how did this happen and how do I fix it. I really need to FTP right now, any help is apperiated. Thanks.

you need to set it up in the network setting in the X3 BIOS, o and you had a double topic post, be patient next time
O, sorry I fixed it. What I did was restart the Xbox without the link in the back and then plug it back in after the bios screen loaded... Xecuter your modchip still rocks!!!
AP25 lt+ and patching
Probably a silly question, but why do you need to patch fable, asassins creed ect with the ap25 patches that were released with the new LT+ firmware. I thought the ap25 check was why the games didnt work until the new LT+ came out.

it IS why they didnt work!
LT+ now uses data stored on disc to bypass AP25 (hence why it needs to be patched)

So I assume all new AP.25 games need to be patched as the original code(AP.25) is not on the backup disc at all. i.e It can not be copied from an original disc?

the patch ADDs to the iso. NOT removes. The additional code holds the responses req'd by the ap25 checks

make a backup using 0800fw on a xbox drive and use XBC to rip the game
then run it through abgx 1.0.4.
you will need LT+ on your drive before it will work (unless you have a unspoofed sammy)

Kinda glad I still have a 360 with an original sammy drive in it
I cursed it ... while waiting for the LT FW update and was thinking on getting rid of it, boy am I ever glad I didn't get rid of it.
I wonder what M$ is going to do ref security checks for that drive?

Quick question on this AP2.5, I need some clarification because of so much conflicting advice.
I have x1.6 firmware on a liteon from about two years ago. I played the new fable 3 no problem on my xbox which has the new AP2.5 supposedly. Can i play ACBH on mine with just a wave patch or the activate.iso?
other details: I have the oldschool dash
I am already banned, dont care about stealth
I am not j-tagged
