X3 Hotswap Confirmation (Quick Question)

Hey I have a 1.6b Xbox with an X3. The X3 clearly doesn't have the required version of Flash BIOS. I am planning on doing a howswap to flash it with X3 1959V16plus and Just wanted someone to confirm this will work correctly

I have read some tutorial and am pretty sure this is the way to do it, but i just wanted someone who KNOWS to confirm it with me.

Can I use any modded xbox, or does it have to be xecuter specific? or X3 specific?
Is it just the lpc pins that i need to swap the chips?
So i turn on the working modded xbox, boot into evoX, go to the Flash BIOS menu.
I then pull out his chip and put mine in? do i just have to push it onto the pins? or do i need to worry about D0?

then its pretty obvious what to do from there, flash the chip, xbox will turn off, put the other guys chip back in, put my chip in mine, and "technically" (provided the flash worked ok) i should then be able to boot up an evox dash burnt to CD?

Basically All i need to know is "MUST IT BE THE SAME TYPE OF CHIP???" Or will an X2 LPC PINS be ok? Or any LPC Pins for that matter?
PLEASE Help I REALLY want to get this working.
Installing a modchip is NOT supposed to take over a friggin week!!!!!!!!!!

The HotSwap tutorial on xbox-scene says to use the exact same chip, wheras i have read a post where a guy didn't use the same chips and it still worked.

LITEON 93450c Flashing Without Soldering, cuts, ect.

Okay, so I got stuck the with Liteon and I ended up caving in and buying the CK3 and the probe....and just my luck, its turns out that you still have to solder and cut wires or whatever...please guys can i get some advice...so your telling me the CK3 and the probe are usless here? I spent like $40 bucks for this crap...

I flashed every drive expect for the dreaded liteon.

Here are the drive details it it helps.

its really not hard at all to make the cuts

plus you need like 5mm of solder to repair them

seriously, it can't get any easier with the extractor

What do you mean its not that hard? I saw the youtube videos and it looks complicated, i mean i had a electronics class last semester and we solderd but it wasent anything hard like this.

Like you gotta have resistors and stuff for this crap, what the heck?

buy a LT switch!
from team xecutor - makes MRA hack easier

or get someone to do it for ya

then use your CK3 for powering drive etc!

only the probe that wont be of any use for that drive!
