x3 instal help

:cry: Recently well like today after a bit of bother i managed to install my x3 chip. Turned it on and worked fine with the blue flash bios screen. I was also able to switch to my normal start up on the Xbox. Updated the bios on the chip as advised to x3_1957. Had a look around and changed a few options. Think i may have inadvertently disabled the chip on start up. But the problem now is that I cant get the normal Xbox to work with the chip disabled, it says that your Xbox needs service please call customer support. The second is that when i start with the chip enabled i just get the normal Xbox screen when a disk is not inserted.

Can anyone help?

okay that fair enought, did't know that being new to this. The main problem now is how do i get back into the bios to lock it?

Is there anyway we can get game updates on banned xbox since we cant go on LIVE? Perhaps a patch, download, or something like that? Thanks!

Not as far as I know. You're simply out of luck on that as the only way to get updates would be to connect to XBox Live, which a banned 360 cannot do.

you can recieve updates from the game itself . But no dash update . There are people that dont have an internet connection and buy xboxes .

You can't receive updates they put out after the game is released though. Obviously you need internet for that.

you can go to xbox.com and update to a flash drive and plug the flash drive to your xbox and turn it on and it will ask if you want to update from the drive i did this to regular and my banned 360

that does the dashboard updates but not the game updates/patches.
There is no way to get the game updates/patches.

download the updates and copy to your hdd.

individual game updates can be done with out jtag.
