individual game updates can be done with out jtag.

so i got the update file for the game i wanted to update but how do i move this on to my xbox drive?

I've downloaded the updates (for CoD: MW2) and hooked up my HDD but don't know where to place the files. I've tried joining the IRC-Channel #xboxuc on DALnet (irc.dal.net) but no one was there. Do I just place them into the games folder? Would putting them on a USB stick work - I'm trying to figure this out, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

i downloaded the update to a usb flash drive now what ?
How do i get it to update i plugged it into usb on xbox but cant seem to find how ? thxs for looking any help appreciated

Your going to need a seperate device like Datel Xport or Datel XSATA then place those updates in the cache folder like ars0n mentioned. Google those two and you will find all the info you need but I personally would recommend Xport.

You can also just take your Microsoft HDD shell apart and inside you will find a 2.5" SATA HDD, just hook that up to your PC and use Xplorer360 to transfer your files.

ok that website works. All u do is open ur HDD case, find tutorial on youtube. Very simple, then hook it up to ur computer with either a sata cable or an external laptop hdd case which will allow u to hook it up with usb. Then download Xplorer 360, browse ur hard drive and insert the update in the partition 3 cache folder.

would downloadable content be installed to hd the same way? or is that what you mean by "game update"?
