X3 Install All works But screen blank When X3 disabled

Hi all,
I have just installed the x3 in my box, using the pin header install, everything seems to be working fine, i can load the flashbios version 3.0 (blue mode), can load backup 256 bios (purple), but when i try to load the xbox with x3 disabled (red mode), the screen is blank? ive check all solder points everything seems fine. Oh and the xbox does not frag what so ever, the power light is a solid green? any ideas?
