X3 install then frag now worse

I installed using the pin header method. After that i had everything hooked up fine. I set the chip in and it booted up. then when i hooked it to the tv it fragged. I removed the chip and noticed a few pin's were pocked through so i desodered the pins and the tryed the wire install. i thought i had everything done right two blue led's. booted up to cronwell. went to flash and i had write protect on. turned box off and the turned off write protect and boom starts fragging. Take drive out of the box and then checked the wries there were a few pins on the conntector that seemed to be loose. Now the only way to get the two led's it to move the green 3v. wire and it still fraggs. I am able to boot to M$ with the long power hold. I have done to many mods to count and this is the only one that has given me this much trouble.
I need help asap

I would guess you may have damaged the point you've soldered the green wire to. Try desoldering the point and check its intact, if it was a cold joint previously then that may explain why it worked intermittently.

ok i just a guy over who check the sodering points and made sure everything was clean. ok now i am getting a frag when the chip is enabled and m$ when i do the long power on. I am starting to run out of options here

frag = bad install.

thats it - no point in telling you anything else.

send your xbox to someone who installs these things all day - it will take them about 2 minutes to do it for you

o.k. where i did the wire install my question is are the pins on the adapter suppost to jiggle around? becuase some of them do alot.

ok i went back found a pin header and did it correctly. I still had to use the alt 5 volt on a 1.3 box so do you think i have fryed my lpc ports

Look, if you can't solder, don't even try this.

Theres thousands of 'help i followed the install guide step by step but now my xbox doesn't work' posts.

If you can't do it, get someone who can.

okay so i want to flash, and i am wondering if i should wait till after the banwave or do it now since i think i've heard that the banwave doesnt effect the Samsung ms-25..Or does it? Please give me some advice as i'd like to do the flash asap..

The samsung is affected by the banwave, but it is not affected by the ap2.5 checks, so I believe you are fine flashing it now. You could also wait after the ban wave just to be safe.
