I am new to the xbox scene and my brother just purchased the X3 chip for my bday and I installed it myself on a v1.6 xbox ( I believe since it was made in Nov 2004). Everything seems to work great except when I try to power up the xbox by holding the power button for more than 3 seconds. The red light comes on for a split second and it seems like the xbox resets and loads up witht he blue light (like it does with the quick power up). I tried holding both the eject and power and it boots up witht he purple light and everything seems to work. I even flashed the chip with the X3 2913 bios and it seems to work fine. So far, it seems like everything is working except when i try to disable the mod chip by holding the power button for more than 3 seconds. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks for the input. I checkedmy soldering points and everything looks good. I did remove the number 6 pin before I installed the PCB board. Can anyone give me feedback on how to solder the D0 point where it is not always on? I can't seem to fugure it out.
