I have installed the X3 on a 1.0 Xbox and I have power to the X3 chip and on the external X3 display it shows red and it does have a HD light. On the power up it will turn on/off and then turn on/off twice and then it will stay running but no control of opening the dvd drive or anything. Can't qiuck boot or anything. I disconnected the chip and the xbox works fine. The three wire install to the bottom of the board seems to be where the problem could possibly be. If I have the chip installed and all the connections but the one for the D0/HD/Lan it will startup with no problems but as soon as I connect that then thats where I have the problems. Any suggestion? I have checked and soldered the connections again.
