x3 installed but im lost

can some1 please help me i ve installed my x3 chip and all the screens and coming up so im assuming the chip is soldered correctly but when the 1st screen come s up when i turn it on it says read only at the top but when i turned the chip to the opposite setting it says the same thing and im unable to upload the flashbios etc,im starting to get a little frustrated,oh and another thing my chip has the flashbios on/off in a different place to any chip i ve seen on the web please please can some1 help????????

Alright hero. There are two ways to protect your flash bios... the switch on the chip it self, which will turn on the red LED when it's off, and the last switch on your X3 switch panel.

Boot to on, on, off, off, off!!
