Ok I just installed the X3 on my v1.0 xbox. I power it up and the X3 logo turns blue and the eject button turns amber, but there is no video signal to the TV. Is it good or bad that the X3 logo is blue? and the eject button LED? Any ideas why my video isn't showing up? Thanks for any help you can give!

Correction...

Once the power button is pushed the X3 logo flashes red then blue, then off... then red, blue, off, then blue and stays blue....

It sounds like a FRAG make sure all of your solder points are solid.

second what version is your xbox? remember if it is 1.6 you need to rebuild the lpc and connect an alternate 5v wire.

If you get it to the point where the X3 LED is Blue then it should be on and functioning. People will experience no video on the screen if they are not using the standard red, yellow, and white cables that came with the box.

So make sure you use the standard cables

There are my 2 cents

check pins #13 and #14 and resolder or touch up the pins.

My xbox is V1.0 and the X3 LED is blue, and I am using the A/V cables that came with the xbox, but still no video.

I checked all the connection points and they all looked fine, but I re-soldered them anyway, just to make sure. I ended with the same result. No video.

I removed all the Xecuter3 components except the pin header to see if it would boot normally and I still have no video. any ideas?

Thanks

I had the same problem. Try to install X2 bios, and see if it works. If it does, then either pins 13 or 14 don't have a good connection to the motherboard, or the EEPROM is bad (this is according to people who know a lot more about this than I do :) Please PM me and let me know if you got the X2 bios to work.
