I made a logo and put it as e:\x3logo and the old one stilll loads as well.
Seeing as there was no file there originally, it doesnt really replace it.

this is what i thought at first also, but when i loaded the file, it booted up to that new file..i guess it looks in your e:\ folder and if it doesn't find anything, it will default to the logo that is on the chip, or at least thats where I think its at. but it worked fine for me, unless you somehow didn't correctly change the format of the file...heres a link that was already suggested....i hope it helps, but probably didn't b/c im sure you already tried this

good luck!!!

it's not enough to simply make a .bmp that is the right size. you need to also make sure it is saved as a 256-color bitmap, NOT a 24-bit bitmap (standard). an easy way to fix this is to open the original file with m$ paint and then save as 256-color bitmap. then just put it on the xbox e:/ directory.

Yup, that was my problem when I first tried it also. It came in the right size in all, but was in 24 bit. Just change to 256 bit color and your good to go.
