x3 mod chip purple vs. white

first of all I mess up for upgrading the flash bios 3.0.0 with 3294. it is doing the on/off on/off on/off then blankl screen. nothing seems to work. if I put the 5v connected to the chip, and doing the backup mode, my controler won't choose to reflash the bios. However, if the 5v cable is not connected I can't get it to the backup mode.
If there is solution to this that will be great

since that doesn't work,
I got a new x3 chip but it is white board instead of the purple one. is this the 3.0.3 version of flashbios?
it is doing the on/off on/off thing the same with the old one, and it is brand new. This is because the 5v is different. what should I do for the 5v, it is similar for the power supply. (where should I put this 5v thing?) how can I install for this chip or this chip is fake?

No the chip is not fake, you have an X3 (1st one) and you have an X3CE (most current one)
Team executer changed the design slightly. If you have a 1.6 or a 1.6b xbox then leave the 5V cable connected. If you have a 1.0-1.5 xbox then take the 5v cable off!!

Pls advise your xbox version, to select the right bank setting and we can go from there.
