Okay, I have WinRAR, a 1.0 motherboard, a Thompson Dvd Drive, an Xapt3r, the X3, xbins, and a headache from all this crap. Okay, I went onto xbins and downloaded the 3029.RAR BIOS and took it to WinRAR, extracted it to a folder on the desktop, took the extracted .bin file for v. 1.0-1.5 to nero, made a 100MB dummy file, went into the menu on nero when on the far left it says,"X3_BIOS" and you drag and drop the files to burn them onto a CD, took the lower case bios.bin file "previously named 3029.RAR" dragged it over and it became all capitals which means I unchecked the joilet menu correctly. I did the same thing with the dummy file and it became all caps. I clicked burn. When it finished, I took it to my xbox and chose the 512 Bank b/c my 1 MB bank won't work, tried to put a v. 3.03 FlashBIOS onto it not knowing what I was doing and now that menu wont boot up, anyway, I chose the 512 bank 1 and chose load BIOS from disc, the tray opened up, I put in my Memorex CD-RW, closed the tray, and it just sat there saying waiting for drive for about a minute, then opened the DVD tray and said in blinking yellow letters, some message saying to insert disc or something and I kept trying this again and again until the FlashBIOS halted. Can somebody please give me a good set of instructions telling me from step one what to do????? Please!!!!!!!!!!!
