X3 No panel lights

3 x3's, No panel Lights, always boots msdash. Blue light on on x3. 1.6 boxes.
Samsung memory.Tried all switch positions. X2.6 works fine in both boxes. Older x3's with solid wire 5v.

First of all - WHAT ?

Second of all .... slow down !!

Third of all - Golden Rule Time :

You need TWO LED's on the X3 chip for it to work
And THEN you SHOULD have the X lit up BLUE on the outside switch panel

If you DONT have 2 led's on the chip lit, then it's time to break out that soldering iron again as sumfin aint right !

If you have 2 led's on the X3 and nothing on the X switch panel - disconnect and try re-booting.

If you have 2 led's on the chip and RED on the outer switch, re-do and check the d0 connection as it's not arming the chip properly.

Have you soldered the extra 5V ok?
LPC rebuild good?

check these things.

your 5v wire is connected to the chip

if u did the PCB rebuild then make sure u put solder from the d0 to the metal part on the PCB and ALSO solder the grey wire to the metal part of the PCB rebuild.

2.6 chips on the same boxes work fine.
Will check the lighting arangement next.
