X3 NoOb question on BIOS

Got system mod working, powerup asks for BIOS upgrade, ungrade via CD, system shutsdown on it's own - everything looks good. When I power the system back up - prompts for BIOS upgrade again.......

u need flashing support.

if u had gone there you would have seen

U r flashing cromwell back to the chip...u need to get a real bios that is not available from this site.
Read up on getting files from xbins.

The latest ver of the file u need is listed on the homepage of this site on the top right.
