X3 on 1.6 unstable.

Hi, Hoping some one can give me a hand. I installed my x3 and solder all the right points and it works great, however occasionally it will just not come on, it is like the dvd drive is bumping the chip out of place. I have to keep opening the box to adjust it. Is this normal, i wouldn't assume so?

Is there something I can do to fix this? It happens even if the xbox isn't moving at all, doesn't get bumped or anything.

Had this happen to me the other day too. I had used the Rebuild PCB that came with the chip. I checked everything, even re-soddered several spots. Finally, I just de-soddered the Rebuild PCB and used wires to do the rebuild. Worked fine after that. I think some sodder had gotten under the Rebuild PCB.

East Midlands area flasher needed

Hey I am looking for some1 In the Uk around the east midlands area that can flash my drive I have a hitachi LG 0047dj. I have tried to flash it myself but getting knowhere. So if sum1 could help me out. I will send you the drive so you can flash it and send it back to me. I am willing to post futher than east midlands if it comes to it. Please respond thanks

Hi yeah that should be ok I tried to flash it myself but I couldent do it. I have a hitachi 0047dj drive. How much do you charge? hope we can discuss this further
