I had the same problem on my 1.6 box, but I couldn't get my pin15 to come up with 3.3V, so I found an alternate 3.3 volt source that was included in the instructions for another mod chip, and it started working after that. If anyone wants to know the point I use, let me know (I forget off the top of my head). I will try to find it again and post it if I do...

then you have an xbox that no one else in the world has

well done !!!!

PS by connecting pin 15 and 9 together as shown by smartxx (thats NOT the x3 diagram so why the f**k you used that i dont know - we HAVE NO NEED TO LINK 9 and 15 together !) you may have f**ked up your mod

Uh, no. I did NOT connect pin 9 and 15 together. If you follow the traces on the x3 chip, like I said, you will notice they are connected. I may have messed up soldering pin 15 on the header, but all of my other solder points worked fine. Also, I know the picture I posted was from another mod chip... It was an example of the point I used. I was only posting what I did in case anyone else had problems bringing up the 3.3V side like I did.

If you have a voltmeter check your grounding on pin 2 and 12 also. With DIY soldering, there's a pretty good chance of making mistakes. Also, check your D0, lot's of people seem to have problems connecting that point. Other than that, I couldn't really help you.

GLEEN 2K- you are a badass. I don't know what the hell they were all talking about. I got my 3.3v point connected to where you said, and voila-it works. So- to anyone else that is having the problem where the 3.3v wont light up, and it's not cuz of your soldering-do what he suggested above.

THANKS AGAIN.
