I just got done installing an X3 in a V1.0 xbox. I flashed the chip (V1957) via HTTP, everything went fine and the xbox shut off as it should have. Now, when I boot from the chip, I just get a blank screen with no FRAG. I swapped in a X2.6 I had laying around and it worked fine. Booting from the backup ROM also worked fine, it allowed me to re-flash hte chip and get going. The bios file I have is fine, as I've used it in the past to flash X3's via http. what else could it be? Does it matter which end I plug the red wire between the X3 and the reset / eject module (on the module, there are two 2-pin connections, does it matter which I use?)

I changed the wire to the upper one, with the same results. Any suggestions?

check your dip settings to the size of your bios make sure you flash the right sized bios to what your switch settings are

I just re-flashed with the following settings: on, on, off, off, off. The upload goes fine and the system shuts off, when I turn it on again I get the same blank screen. Is it possible one of my solder points is messed up? I thought if the flashbios worked it meant that everything was soldered fine.
